The Parade of Homes, the hallmark event hosted by the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver (HBA), returns Thursday, Aug. 10, and runs through Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023, with the largest showcase of the latest in architecture and home design along the Front Range. 

The 2023 event, presented by The Aurora Highlands, will showcase new homes throughout Metro Denver from Longmont to Castle Rock and Arvada to Aurora. Details include:

  • 55 newly designed model, custom homes by 24 area residential builders located in neighborhoods throughout the greater Denver metropolitan area; 
  • Of the 55 homes, six are luxury “Dream Homes;”
  • Two featured Parade communities, The Aurora Highlands and Painted Prairie;
  • Tour when and where you want with options for on-demand virtual tours or in-person tours Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. during the Parade;
  • Fourth annual People’s Choice Awards, allowing Parade-goers to vote for their favorite homes and features.

In the spotlight communities, Parade attendees will be able to tour multiple featured homes in one neighborhood. In The Aurora Highlands, eight homes by five builders are participating in the Parade. There are nine homes by seven builders featured in Painted Prairie

“The Parade of Homes offers individuals a distinctive opportunity to explore an array of new homes and communities across the Denver Metro area, helping them discover their perfect match,” stated Michelle Wood, 2023 chair of the Parade of Homes and sales director at Cardel Homes. “This event also presents a chance to witness the cutting-edge designs and innovations from the industry’s leading builders and developers, sparking inspiration for their upcoming home purchase or project.” 

This year’s participating Parade homes, nearly all featuring virtual tours, can be viewed at ParadeOfHomesDenver.com. In-person tours are free of charge and available during the Parade on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. Guests can download online directions to participating homes at ParadeOfHomesDenver.com or download a print map at ParadeOfHomesDenver.com/Parade-Of-Homes-Map. Print maps are also available in the July/August issue of Colorado Homes & Lifestyles Magazine. 

Online and in-person, Parade-goers will discover unique homes and floor plans, beautiful communities, the latest in interior design trends and home technology, exterior finishes, and outdoor living, and landscaping that will inspire during this free event that is open to the public.
